component of its integrated fueling systems. The
innovative design of the ConVault above ground fuel tank has earned it the
reputation of being engineered for the ultimate in
safety and value.
Constructed of steel and housed in an attractive
concrete enclosure, the secondarily contained system is
a state-of-the-art, cost effective way to meet your
storage needs. The
historical performance of ConVault above ground storage
tanks in use - 30,000 global installations without a
single system failure - is the cornerstone of its
reputation. ConVault AST's carry a UL 2085 listing, the
highest fire safety rating available for aboveground storage tanks. ConVault applications include vehicle
dispensing, emergency power and mission critical fueling, alternative
fuels storage, aviation fueling, marina fueling and waste oil storage.

ConVault Blast Effects Analysis
Test Included
Simulation for Suitcase Bomb, Car Bomb and Vapor Cloud
ConVault recently completed
tests to determine the inherent blast resistance of ConVault's design.
The tests included simulations of a car bomb, suitcase
bomb and vapor cloud explosion. The BEA indicated that the ConVault AST is very
resistant to the effects of the blast loads considered.
The mass provided by the concrete outer shell protected
the steel tank extremely well, and greatly enhanced the
resistance to all blasts. The magnitude of these blasts at the respective
proximities would be expected to destroy and/or relocate
lighter, less protected fuel storage tanks.
