LCV: Belowgrade UL 2245 Tanks

The UL 2245 Listed Liquid Containment Vault System (LCV) provides fortified protection where fuel is safely contained and water is sealed out. The unique seamless sectional vault construction offers uncompromising environmental protection to soil and groundwater, that resists corrosion, rising water tables or even the sudden trauma of earthquake activity. The vault incorporates a specially formulated concrete mix, factory poured in two parts. Because the storage tanks are located within a vault that allows for easy accessibility / visual inspection by your personnel, they are classified by the EPA as Aboveground Storage Tanks (AST). This proprietary aboveground but below grade design dramatically reduces the risks of financial responsibility, pollution liability insurance premium costs and can represent major tax savings.

Benefits of Liquid Containment Vaults Include:

  • No seams or joints below the 100% liquid containment level
  • Custom vault configurations (sizes range from 100-15,000 gallons)
  • Easy access for manual inspection
  • Designs certified to with stand H-20 wheel loading
  • Fast, easy installation
  • Compliance with AST rules/regulations
  • Exempt from current EPA UST guidelines, eliminating mandatory soil monitoring, tank tightness testing and inventory record keeping in most states
  • UL 2245 Listed

Visual Inspection of the Tank Allows it to be Regulated as an AST
