Hazardous Waste Storage Buildings provide safe
and secure storage of waste products while reducing
operations costs. A permanent Household Hazardous Waste
(HHW) building can significantly cut collection costs
for cities, municipalities, military bases and large
facilities. Typical building configuration includes
three isolated storage rooms with a secure external
storage area for propane tanks and batteries.
A Typical HHW Building Configuration:
1.
Isolated Storage Rooms. A minimum of three
rooms to isolate incompatible products*
2.
Propane Storage Room. A secure area for the
storage of cylindrical propane tanks.
3.
Battery Storage. A secure area for the
storage of vehicle batteries. Optional battery
charging station
