Core Provides Fuel Tanks for the USCG in Hurricane Relief Efforts.
In
the wake of Hurricane Katrina rescue and relief workers have found
reliable fuel storage hard to come by. Core Engineered Solutions was
able to provide the USCG with a fastrack solution that included 16
(1,000 gallon) single wall fuel storage tanks used to power
generators at shelters and relief stations throughout Louisiana.
Core was able to further assist the USCG by securing a reliable
vendor that could provide much needed generator systems at no extra
cost. In addition, Core was able reroute the shipment to optimal
disaster relief locations while still in transit.
Core Engineered Solutions in cooperation with many of our current
customers has rerouted tanks from other projects, shuffled
production schedules and set aside stock tanks in an attempt to
accommodate Companies and Organizations who are in immediate need of
reliable fuel storage.
