U.S. Veterans Association Recruits Core Engineered Solutions for Fuel Storage System Upgrades
Over
the past 10 years Core Engineered Solutions, Inc. has performed fuel
storage system upgrades for the Veterans Administration on over 20
sites. Core’s full scope of services allowed the VA to rely on one
point of contact for the design, procurement and installation of
state-of-the art equipment to replace existing UST’s across the
United States.
Recently, Core provided upgrades to the fueling system at the VA Cemetery in San Joaquin California. Core’s scope of services included the removal of two (2) 2,000 gallon underground storage tanks and the installation of a 1500/1500 dual capacity ConVault tank for gasoline and diesel dispensing and related equipment. The new system was equipped with a fuel management system to help track vehicle history and monitor fuel consumption. In addition, Core provided all the materials, design, labor and testing and necessary for the successful delivery and installation of a fully operational and compliant system. On site labor included: permits and approvals, unloading, setting, grounding, and electrical connections in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Core’s pre-engineered fueling systems allowed the VA to
standardize on one tank configuration and fuel management system
across the country, with only one point of contact. In addition,
Core’s GSA contract (GS07F-9110G) allowed the VA to bypass the
lengthy and often expensive government bidding process. To discuss
