Overfill prevention valves (OPVs) offer crucial protection for storage tank owners against costly over-flow spills and stringent regulations. Environmental and fire codes require the "means to automatically stop delivery" of liquid to a tank when the liquid level reaches 95% of capacity. A UL listed positive shut-off OPV satisfies this requirement and prevents overfilling a tank during product delivery.
